No need to overhype this flick. Yes, it's long. Yes, you think the movie is over and then there's 45 more minutes. But it's all very entertaining. And that's the point right?
In the end, my family and I we're not talking about Christian Bale, it was all about the astonishing and menacing portrayal of the Joker by Heath Ledger. And ultimately how sad the reality of his death. We all have our demons.. he was holding his a little closer I guess.
Heath Ledger was nothing short of astonishing in this film. every moment he was on screen, you were entranced... every moment you anticipated his apearance was an adrenaline rush.
I will see it again in a few days on a church staff outing. My pastor is psyched.... he hasn't gone yet... will be fun to see what you always miss the first time around.
