Much better than expected

I had expected another 'Comic Book to Movie' makeover. However not only was I pleasantly surprised, but my two teens thought it was great too!
The choice to take this out of the old comic book era and move it into a modern day sci-fi was awesome.
I would consider this the modern day equivalent of the 'Star Wars' or 'Matrix' releases, in that there are great state of the art special effects, but the movie actually has a plot and a storyline. The acting was much better than I expected and I am actually going to go see it a 2nd time in the cinema (something I haven't done for 10-years or so).
