a good friend explained to me, since I am completely uninitiated to Watchmen, that this is a more realistic view of how people with powers would make choices in our world. I agree. Flawed superheroes, working in our world, getting their hands dirty. Not a sweet story. Satisfying.

Never felt long, great scenes, great character development, and I felt vindicated for believing in the character, but darkened by what they all survive. Complexity is not usually good. This was good!
