I laughed, I cried. I had not read the book beforehand, but the movie was fantastic.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I took my 9 year old daughter and 12 year old son to see this movie. All I knew about it was that it was full of villains. I knew it was going to be funny, but I hadn't anticipated it to be an incredibly heartwarming story. We really loved this one. My son loved all the "boy humor" while my daughter adored the little girls.
We saw it in 3D and were glad we did. However, I don't think not seeing it in 3D would deter from the greatness of the movie at all.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We took our kids to an AMC showing on the 4th. We all had a great time. The kids really liked the movie and immediately were able to identify their favorite characters from the cartoon. I'd heard a lot of bad reviews, but honestly... our family liked the movie a lot. I'm really hoping that there will be a continuation of the series so we can all watch Aang learn to master the bending of the other 2 elements.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My daughter and I saw Alice in Wonderland yesterday in Digital Imax. It was, to say the least, quite amazing. Anyone who expected this movie to be "exactly" like the original has obviously never seen a Tim Burton movie. It was Tim Burton perfection! (Were they expecting a Disney remake?)
Helena Bonham Carter was awesome as the Red Queen. My daughter giggle hysterically at the White Queen's weak stomach.
This movie was great. I walked in with apprehension, it wasn't my movie of choice. My 8 year old daughter wanted to see it. I found myself tapping my feet along with the terrific music. This movie went back to Disney's roots and I think it did a great job. You could not help but fall in love with Ray, the cajun firefly. All in all, I was very glad to have seen this movie!!
