Performances by Anna N and Stephen Costello particularly noteworthy, though all were superb. Perhaps Ildar A. played a one-dimensional Henry, but the dimension he chose was true to life. So refreshing to see and hear great drama without special effects and voiceovers. Bravo! and bring it on, Mr. Gelb.
Watching TS3, I laughed, cried, and practiced my Shakespeare! Wondered throughout about the creative geniuses who dream up these things and bring them to life. Though we've traveled pretty far since Snow White, it is refreshing to see that Walt Disney's vision of bringing universal themes of villainy and good guys to life can still get a fair treatment and better yet, provide good fun and messages for all ages. Thank you, Disney and Pixar! Looking forward to TS4 with Bonnie! and maybe Andy's wife and kids!
This was another wonderful program in this series. Unfortunately, due to Satellite interference there were a few sound problems, but overall it was an excellent program, and the sound was actually BETTER than it sometimes carries up to the Family Circle where I usually sit at the Met, so I was thrilled to be able to see the wonderful facial expressions of all these amazing singers, and was even able to glean (lip-read) a bit of the intermission interviews where the sound cut out almost completely, but even that bonus bit of footage was delightful. Keep up the good work!
