Loved Julia, Hated Julie

I loved Meryl Streep as Julia Child. What a force she is on screen!! The story line following her life was brilliant. Julie Powell, on the other hand, came off as a whiny, insecure 'S@x in the City' type character. Watching Julie's hubby smacking his lips and chewing with his mouth open on the big screen was disgusting. I felt as if I was watching two movies; one I loved and the other I hated.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
