Great movie

This movie was great i wish i had seen it earlier. I will admit they could have cut scenes out to save time. Once i saw the air craft pick him up i knew what was going to happen so i went to the bathroom with out worry of missing anything important. my only problem was right before the credits. he should have never done that. and as for the after credits scene they picked the perfect guy even though he looks wrong. no one else has that big of an ego to play that char

great movie. it was very reminiscent of Dragon ball Z's tree of might towards the end but its not necessarily a bad thing. the movie theather did screw up and show the the voice actor interview first which did spoile small parts. but i am glad i was able to see it for the first time on the big screen. Thank you and keep up the good work brining Anime to the big screen

Great adaptation

This was a great movie based off a great Manga. The fact that they used the anime's dub actors for the movie was a great touch. They adjusted the plot well for the most part. The fact that light break into the police database before he get the book show his evil side is always there. Their choice for L was perfect it look like the Manga creator used the actor for his work. I guess my only real problem Was Ryuk. After the credit there was a special on the making of the film. The director had also directed some Godzilla movies which shows in Ryuk> he looks like some rubber thing out of Insane Clown posse.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
