Stephen Spielberg has done it again! He must know the courage and loyalty in the heart of a horse! Although this story is not necesarily a true story, (see IMDB.com) I believe the movie captured the life and times of WW1. Especially poignant was the scene where the Brits and Germans ceased fire to care for the horse. As far as this movie not being fit for young children, they are exposed to much worse in video games.
Kevin James was in great form in this character. The plot was a delightful way to teach children life principles. Often the one thing or person we think will make us happy is right under our nose. It is also best to be yourself and not try to be like someone you weren't created to be.
