Seriously Hollywood, sit down and watch "The Walking Dead" or any number of the George Romero films. Running\Climbing zombies? Right.
Critical mission to find patient zero and save the human race: Send a team of one doctor, one pilot, a movie star\former UN employee and two Navy SEALs. Way to load up for bear. The story was AWFUL and had nothing to do with the book.
The zombies weren't even really scary, more of a laugher. Even minor details like where the patient zero was located, switched from China in the book to South Korea. Israel being overrun in the movie? That seems like another Hollywood attempt at self censoring the powerful story that Max Brooks wrote.
To sum up, mildly entertaining, awful story. Leaving out the Battle of Yonkers, simply criminal.
