Don't reread the book first.

Luckily, I was warned that this movie doesn't follow the book as closely as the others did. While my family found that disappointing, we did enjoy the movie although we wished it had a darker feel throughout and not just at the beginning and the end. The actors have grown into their roles and give good portrayals of their characters. If you want romance and teenage angst with a dash of adventure, this is the movie for you. Of course, if you're a Harry Potter fan, you wouldn't miss it, so my advice to you is reread the book after seeing the movie not before. The end is corny!
