Not the Holmes I grew up with

Basil is rolling in his grave, Baker Street fans will find it highly irregular and look what happens when Guy Ritchie gets a big budget and "A" list stars. Good movie, but a bit long and, literally, overblown. Other Ritchie movies have been more violent with far fewer explosions. Also, do we really need to half open the closet on childhood heroes? I liked the movie. It was entertaining, but it wasn't really Holmes and Watson.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
