Milk tells a true story of a life lived with idealism and love and a clear vision of what is right and good. Set in the cultural upheaval of the post flowerchild era, a galvanizing force in the gay movement changes everything by becoming politically active and actually garnering significant power. Like so many heroes who tell the truth he is snuffed out by ignorance and bigotry, but his life and what it meant survive him. Watch this movie.
