The movie was definitely great. I brought my 10 & 12 year old boys. I think it was borderline for the 12 year old and it was too intense for my 10 year old. They used a few bad words and there was a mild love scene in the beginning. The beginning of the show had a lot of raw violence. Once you get past the 1st 20 minutes it is fine. Nothing that covering their eyes wouldn't hurt. It did get a bit intense when they were going to put a burning hot piece of coal in a man's mouth. That image was not nice for them to think about.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
