Cute...better than expected.

Took my 7yo, and we both enjoyed it. There were several scenes that had children and adults laughing out loud. The kids clapped at the end. It was touching, and the ending sparked some good discussion with my son.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Better than the first...book is still better.

New Moon is better than Twilight, but still does not quite live up to the books. It still has too much forced drama, and there was not enough Bella/Jacob time. There is some great humor, but there are several times when the movie is unintentionally funny. I almost felt bad for the actors...Almost. Edward is lacking much of the humor provided in the book to balance his seriousness. Although Robert Pattinson is gorgeous, but Edward is supposed to be beautifully sculpted. He had more of a heroin chic look about him. Taylor Lautner is gorgeous as Jacob, but doesn’t look quite old enough (he’s supposed to look 25). I am glad they brought him back, though.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
