I have to say that this is my least favorite of all the movies. The magic that was felt through all the previous movies was not there in this one. Everything felt very "real." I have read the book and don't know how anyone that has not read the book would be able to understand the first part of the movie. It was less than a summary of the book. The movie however looked beautiful. The best looking yet. I just hope they are saving all the good stuff for the last two movies. I'm hoping that this one was just for exposition.
I knew what this movie was going in to it. Delirium was created to celebrate the Music and artistry of Cirque. It was to focus on the Music and Dance in there shows. There were parts of the show I felt were really strong. I think it got a little boring but I was in a theatre watching it and not seeing it live. They are always much better live. The music was great and the theatre I was in had the best sound system and clearest picture I've ever seen. The price I found a little expensive but it's not like you get to see things like this normally so I'd expect to pay a little more. For all...just be aware that this is not a normal Cirque show with acrobatics. It's about music and dance. And, some amazing projections.
