Good Movie Despite Subject Matter

I had not read the book and was not sure if I would like this movie based on the subject matter. I was pleasantly surprised at how it was handled. This movie kept me interested all the way. I do not consider this a "kiddie" movie at all. It has a lot to say and is well worth the trip to the theater!

Gerard and Jen are always cute but this movie seemed long and not all that funny or interesting. I would recommend renting and save the price of going to a theater which I noticed has really gone up lately!

You can't go wrong with Robert Downey, Jr. in a movie and in this one he does not disappoint! Jude Law is also good as Dr. Watson. The storyline keeps you interested as you try and figure out the mystery.

Great Special Effects But That's It

The special effects are the best part of this movie plus Adam Lambert's song! The storyline includes some dumb characters. Many things are "stolen" from other disaster movies. Pretty ridiculous!

Thought it was very entertaining. Wasn't much of a role for Crowe. DiCaprio carried the movie. A great thriller and lots of action!
