You'd be a fool to miss out on viewing this film, because of subtitles...Great mystery/romance and excellent acting. Best movie I've seen in years, truly.

Very Entertaining Film

Great dialogue, acting (particularly Penelope Cruz & Javier Bardem) and beautiful shots of Barcelona. Except for a few, I've mostly enjoyed Woody Allen films and this one is truly on par with his earlier films such as "Manhattan", but shooting outside of the city is adding new dimensions to all his recent films, particularly this one. One of the previous reviewers mentioned they "yawned" in parts. Were you sleepy? I found the dialogue and acting fresh, entertaining and absorbing from start to finish!

I truly enjoyed this film. It was effective in showing how passion, no matter how tempestuous, is more addictive than complacent love.

Light and fun are the optimal words to describe this movie. If you're looking for thought-provoking fare, this is not the movie for you. However, it's the way summer should be and I would strongly recommend it if you're looking for a movie that will make you dream of beaches, singable music and dancing!
