Trekking into the Next Generation

This is the best Star Trek movie ever. This surprised me since few movies which continue old / successful stories live up to the oriignal. When I got to the end, I was left wanting more.
The continuity of Nimoy as the old Spock was a good jumping off point. But it leaves us without the need to continue with any of the old stars. The new stars can stand on their own. And having a more human Spock in this new time line (without going overboard, thank you) was surpisingly successful.
I'm now waiting impatiently for the next Trek. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long!

For a fun afternoon, this was a good choice. Harrison Ford still has what it takes ... and it's good to see that there is a new Indiana standing in the wings.
