The "Modern" Sherlock

I found it kind of disconcerting to see Sherlock as slovenly and lazy as he often appears, especially early in the movie. But he comes to his prodigious senses and unravels the case, tidying up numerous loose ends at the close. It was also fun to have Jude Law portray Watson as such a strong and powerful ally / partner. Intellect and action, a nice one two punch, and a very good movie
Yes, I recommend this movie.
