Guy Ritchie Kills Doyle

Evidently, Mr. Ritchie and his team never heard of the term "less is more". This movie's solid story and strong actors were overshaddowed by special effects, overblown sound track, slow pacing (actually put me to sleep), and needless banter. Lost were the subtlety and cleverness of a well-told Sherlock Holmes mystery. Not only did Guy Ritchie kill Mr. Doyle, he showed a complete lack of respect to the intellectual capability of his audience in the process.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
