Excellent Part 1

I'm amazed how well they made part 1 of the end. The director and the actor took their time with real special moments, and made the most of the story so far. It was both very moving and quite frightening in parts. Excellent, and I recommend IMAX. Nothing like it!

Gotta see it in IMAX

I had read some so-so reviews of this movie, but I took three 4th graders to see it on the IMAX screen. They loved it. I enjoyed it much more than I had anticipated. It was exciting, full of adventure and danger, and the visuals were absolutely stunning. There are some great themes in there about perseverance, loyalty, racism...excellent.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Fantastic for all ages

This movie gets everything right. The story, the characters, the soaring action - Dreamworks has put out a fantastic, fun, exciting and touching feature that people of all ages will like. If you're near an Imax screen, pay the extra to see it - it benefits from the large screen in the same way Avatar did.
