One for the Money was just what I hoped it would be - it was just like the books, fun and just enough over the top without going too far. I read a lousy review for the movie before I went, but it was clear the person writing the review had never read the books. It surely sets us up for the next 17 movies, and I CAN'T WAIT!
A chick flick for sure - my husband would have preferred seeing something different, but was a good sport and enjoyed it as best he could (He likes Anne Hathaway). I actually found it a little too stressful, but my 13 year old daughter and her friend enjoyed it.
I liked Q of S better than the last one (which I thought was too lovey dovey for Bond). My only gripe with this one was it was shot so "fast" in some places that it was impossible to see what was going on. I surely missed several key parts and will have to see it again. Missed Q - no Bond Gadgets at all! Good action - if only Daniel Craig didn't look so much like Clinton Kelley....
Overall, I enjoyed this movie. I love Harrison Ford and felt the overall theme was similar to his other IJ movies. However, I thought the story line was a little silly and far fetched when it came to the aliens and didn't really do him justice. I think they could have written a better story to go along with the real crystal skulls legend and it would have made a much better movie. It was, however, fun to seen Indy "all grown up".
