Well, I love Nicholas Cage, and some of his movies are pretty lame, but this one did have some merit even though it was a bit formulaic .
It kept my interest even when I started to understand the plot with the aliens and all. I like it , everyone in the theater was captivated for the 2 hours. So maybe a bit predicable, but still entertaining.

Dickens gone Bollywood, Such a wonderful film to watch visually with a great story. I loved the kids and wish they would get nominated, the lead actor was super good and I am sure we will see him in Hollywood soon.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
