I'd heard from someone that I should go to see this film and I was happy that I did. Both my husband and I were captivated by this beautiful tale of one woman's very difficult life in Sweeden and how she found magic in the art of taking photographs. Her camera gave her strength and a way to capture images as simple as a cat on a windowsill, and as striking as her 4 children.
I was looking forward to this, since I like Clive Owen and most things he's in. The writing was pretty bad, and Clive was mister one-note. He went from angry to angrier, and that was about it. Naomi Watts was just okay, and didn't really add much to the movie. In general, I love a good thriller, and the locations were beautifully filmed, but the movie was just so-so.
