Better than Twilight

I took 2 teenage girls to Twilight and sat through the movie waiting for the end. I had no wish to see it again.
New Moon was more enjoyable. Not Academy award material, but worth a second viewing. Looking forward to Eclipse.

This is a fairly faithful adaptation of the book. The telling of the story from each characters viewpoint worked well, although I would have liked to hear more from hunky dad (played by Jason Patric)
I went with my teen daughters (who had not read the book). The 15-year old enjoyed it the most. It was harder for the 18-year old as I am still in adjuvant therapy for breast cancer. I doubt I will watch it again; once was enough.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
