A mixed bag

I loved some parts of this movie. The animation and "emotional" robots were top notch, but the story line was weak at best. Too much propaganda about the destruction of Earth, but the social commentary on American eating habits and laziness was very funny. The predictable ending was boring. The 8 year old I saw it with liked it very much and had no problem following the story line.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was just slightly above average in my view. For kids, it's OK, for adults, tolerable but barely so.
