Extra size is so worth it!

Is the extended version of the already long movie Watchmen worth the extra time or is it just unneeded scenes added to pad the movie? The extra scenes add extra depth and will certainly please my fellow comic geeks. I loved seeing the interrogation scene with Lori and it was great seeing the attack on Hollis Mason. I look forward to seeing it on DVD but it was great to see it one more time on the big screen!

Loved the movie. Kirk’s birth with his Father’s sacrifice was touching. The early scenes on Vulcan were great. . Enjoyed all the scenes of how Kirk came to Starfleet. The movie did a great job of establishing why McCoy is older than the other cadets and how he and Jim became such good friends. The sets were great, as were the action scenes. There were several nice nods to the previous shows (including Scotty beaming Admiral Archer’s beagle).The romantic relationship they show nicely sets up a possible love triangle but at the same time gives added depth to both Uhura and Spock. It was great seeing the great Leonard Nimoy in the film.. I’m planning to see it again this weekend. It really is something special.
