We took our two boys to see this movie on New Year's day. It was not a disappointment as I expected it to be. Both of my boys enjoyed the movie although they had never seen or heard of the original and I ended up liking the movie even though I am not one to usually enjoy sci-fi movies. Movies are suppose to make us forget our own reality for a few hours and Tron did exactly that!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Enjoyable movie!

I thought this movie was well done for the IMAX 3D environment. We went to the movie knowing the plot so there were no surprises but I will say that my almost 11 year old son enjoyed this movie very much. It might be scary for younger children though...
