This movie was fun & incredibly entertaining. I think the director/writers did themselves very proud. This movie was cast perfectly. The acting is A+ all around.
My husband and I've known each other almost 25 years; he's always been a *huge* ST fan. These guys had to do something *very* right if they have got me, a neutral Trek fan wanting more! I definitely want to see the movie again; we want to see it in IMAX. Don't tell my husband but it makes me want to watch everything again. That's how exciting this movie was!!!!
Finally, my Dad is nearly impossible to please. He was 16 when he watched the very first pilot for Star Trek in 1966. He didn't expect much going into this experience; he was incredibly happy at the result. :)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
