Despite some undeveloped characters, the yarn "prequels" well. Not sure what a continuation and development of these characters would mean, though my guess it'd be more fun than jumping forward.
Iconic Americana, complete with pathos, loyalty, budding sexuality, adventure, and much more... And, ah, the simple pleasures... remember this when you see kids playing on Independence Day during the fireworks displays and backyard celebrations.
Things change; things don't change. Enjoy the movie as movies were meant to be enjoyed. hugs to all, sky
Brides Maids is an actual, real, objective, and true chick flick. Finally, the "chick flick" is defined. Plus, it was about time for an R rated movie with oral, aural, and visual gags shared by real women, probably throughout history.
Sweet, rowdy, poignant, rude, engaging, fully drawn and much more... Enjoy!
More like Fast Fifty Fun...big cast... Choreographed mayhem with innocents nearly missing death, the bad and good guys getting their due. Humor, romance pathos... actors and doubles were amazing in the chase, gun, and fight scenes.
A little loud in the IMAX version at times, but then it's an action film; think it's because I'm a little old.
An apt analogy for today's all and nothing economic and political positions, Atlas "didn't" Shrug. Good on 'em for the entirely credible cinema. Low budget? Again, good on 'em and good job. Cast performances were well drawn and well done. Sophomoric? So what...
It'd be excellent to have a Part II. Ideas for resolution of classic issues is welcome.
Negative reviews are from movie snobs! This was a lovely update, which will allow young people to enjoy the story. It mercifully lacked the maniacal laughter that was so annoying in the original. It was fun and sweet and, at times, poignant, with balanced performances from all - definitely to be enjoyed:)
Overlooking the new ubiquitous cityscape shots, the old sci-fi premise serves the story well. Also overlooking the elastic stretch of the quantum physics, a satisfying puzzle emerges that repeated on me when the film was done. Fast and well-acted, with humor bits, Source Code is a credible addition to its genre.
Ah, but then there's that yearning for a nicer world that seems to be cropping up everywhere...
