A very "put together" film with solid performances, Perhaps it's my age and experience, so there were no surprises.
If democracy is humans' greatest experience to end our species' problems [and I believe it is], then where are the solutions? Answer: not in this film...

Broadly cast, grounded in fact, with historical notes that, hopefully, are accurate.
Recommend for all who like virus movies and those that might but haven't tried.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who has never seen or read similar stories or someone who's been living on the moon all her/his life...

I used to tell my children they must be witnesses, meaning they must know about the past "lest we forget."
This film is an excellent reminder of atrocities committed by the Nazis. Young people must learn about this past to they can prevent or stop its repetition in the present and future.
The cast is strong. and the direction is well drawn.
For those that think car chases and explosions are tense, suspenseful, and unnerving, they can learn there's more, in the real world...

Perhaps going for laughs about racism has value for educating young people and others who have little familiarity with its reality.
That said, The Help is balanced and beautifully drawn and will enjoy success in theaters.
Tyson is amazing!

Pop Culture that Popped - Expectations...

I guess if the viewer hadn't seen real Westerns as a child, then there wouldn't be the emotional punch of several scenes. Confident that no horses were injured during this filming, there were reminders that, in past, horses were really hurt.
OK, so the movie aliens were not super new totally different beings; isn't that the point?!
So, hey, I liked it. Pop culture that popped...

Loved the humor! The supporting cast is a hoot! I actually owned a Chevelle Super Sport - sweet car.
I suppose it's good that kids have mythic freedom vs. authoritarianism stories to ponder, plus the "appreciate youth" messages.

In many ways a lovely piece when not pretentious, which is often... I found the photographic/graphic sections significantly distracting.
A well-acted, rather ordinary story after all...
