Not a usual Tim Burton flick

but if you go like me, for the floating cat, special effects, beautiful imagery, and a story I'm familiar with and have loved forever, you won't be disappointed.
Also, Johnny Depp as the Hatter reciting the Jabberwocky poem was horrendously amazing and chilling.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
