I saw this movie yesterday with my eight year old son. We both enjoyed the movie very much. This is not the 3D experience of my youth! I am generally skeptical about seeing 3D movies as the glasses usually bother me. The 3D in this movie was fantastic. The quality of the picture was such that it caused no eye strain whatsoever. I particularly enjoyed several of the "flying" scenes. One caution, there are some frightful moments in the film (enough to make me jump a bit!) so be careful with young kids. I'd be a little skeptical about bringing kids younger than 5 or 6....they would probably have some difficulty following the story anyway and the scary parts might be a little too much for them. Other than that, its a fun family movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
