Scorsese does his bet to pay a tribute to the history of movie making. The story is ok. The cinematography is incredible. It reminded me of the old Disney film viewers in the way it presents the 3D images.
Tried to squeeze too much into one movie. The plot went fast and the characters didn't grow as in other HP movies. Great for those who read the book but I wonder what they edited out. If the DVD includes lots of deleted scenes it could be special. Art direction was spectacular.
My three kids really enjoyed the movie. The acting and the scenery are wonderful. My six year old even let a tear out in the only emotional scene in the movie. Abigail Breslin did a wonderful job as the centerpiece of the movie.
