This movie wasted lots of potential. It was VERY, VERY SLOW! You're an hour in wondering "when is it going to start?" Beyonce' is a great singer and performer but not so much with the acting. I would not waste 20 bucks on this one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Let me say that I never read the book so I can't compare as many people have. I thought it was a good movie but was dissapointed in the climax scene or it would have gotten 5 stars. Definitely sets up sequel as others have mentioned. Well worth the ten bucks to go see it though.

Great movie...enough comedy to give you a quick break but didn't try to turn it into a funny drama as so many do now. Heath Ledger was fantastic and definitely stole the set. Highly recommend movie and I am not a comics fan...just a really good movie!!
