Better than the first!

I thought this adaptation was better than the first. Bella's narration via email helped keep the flow. Thought more could have been done with the werewolves and explaining how closely they were tied to each other. The strength of the Alpha and their mental telepathy were just mentioned and easily forgettable if you had not read the books beforehand. Jane and Caius's characters never got established... ok, don't mean to nitpick... it was enjoyable. Can't wait for 'Eclipse'!

Good, but the book is always better

The movie was a fairly good representation of the book. I miss the humor in the book; all of Bella's mishaps, her tendency to forget to breathe and sometimes over-exuberance when they kiss. Alice should have had more of a presence and I was hoping for more from Edward's perspective. I love Pattinson and Stewart as Edward and Bella! I wish the dialogue were more substantial, more enlightening for those who have not read the books.
Sounds like I didn't enjoy the movie, but I did. I will always love this movie, but I will always want more! I'm eagerly anticipating New Moon!
