In my opinion, JJ Abrams nailed it. This Star Trek movie was just about perfect (and while I'm a long-time fan, I'm not a trekkie). It was exciting, funny, serious and light. The premise is brilliant because now they can move foward in this alternate reality and have as many movies/shows as they want without infringing on the original shows....
An A+ in my book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
