I'm not sure what the point of the movie was. Instead of focusing on telling a good story, they spent half the time on the convoluted and ultimately unnecessary time travel aspect. Why not just do a straight reboot? The great special effects and acting make for at least decent entertainment, but overall this was a very superficial movie - a pretty shaky plot and no emotional resonance at all.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Wow, 30 years of Wolverine comic books and this is the best story they could come up with? It actually manages to make Wolverine seem LESS interesting of a character. If you're looking for endless scenes of Wolverine and Sabertooth running at each other while screaming, this movie is for you. And that's not even getting into the travesty they make of Deadpool and all the other great comic characters who get five seconds of screen time. Please, I beg you, at least just wait for the DVD.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
