Whew! Some people just cannot be pleased!
This film was neither the best acted nor the best scripted film of the summer. Most of the film amounted to shouting amid explosions.
However, those explosions were amazing!
The effects were all special, but none was as uncanny as the appearance of a certain governator in full cg. I have never seen a fully digital characterization that was so spot on if brief.
Sam Worthington did a phenomenal job portraying his character and I look forward to seeing him in future roles.
McG should be proud of his accomplishment. He saved the Terminator film franchise. Now if only someone would buy the tv show from Fox so it could be renewed...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
