This movie would be hard to follow if one hadn't read the book. It has high production values but is very dark, both cinematically and by content.
I couldn't help feeling the great oppression that has been Harry's burden through his entire life. Although it is long, it held my attention throughout. The special effects are, as usual, dazzling, but I left feeling unsatisfied. Perhaps, that is because the story is to be continued.
I think most people will like this film, but because they are Harry Potter fans they may be more willing to overlook faults in the quality of the film itself.
