The plot of the movie was fairly good, though nothing earth-shattering; it is after all a Disney film. Top-notch production. The most notable thing is the CGI Jeff Bridges face.
The 3D was not in-your-face overdone, which was nice.
Olivia Wilde is very pretty.

A different feel than the previous movies: darker, deadlier, and more "adult". Certainly it follows the books in this regard, and I'm not complaining.
It's a well-crafted movie. I don't expect less.
On the downside, it feels stunted. At two and a half hours, it's plenty long, but many of the characters get only brief times on screen that I really wanted more of: Snape, Tonks, and Neville to begin with. Even Draco is shorted.
Yeah, some of it had to be cut to fit in feature length. And I suspect that there will be a DVD/Blu-Ray release with extended footage sometime later.
