Laugh Out Loud!

I was skeptical of this movie at first because I'm not really into the shoot 'em up, lots of car chase scenes, etc. However, those scenes took a backseat to the raucous laughter that was filling the theatre! This had so many belly laugh moments that it was quite entertaining to me in spite of the concept.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I haven't read the book and don't know that I will, but I enjoyed the movie. Julia Roberts is amazing as usual and Javier Bardem adds a rugged, sensitive element, too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Oscar Material

From the moment I saw the previews, I wanted to see this movie and I wasn't disappointed! It is beautifully filmed and the acting is spectacular. Jeff Bridges should definitely get the Oscar for this movie. He became the character, Bad Blake. The story is a sad reminder of what alcohol can do to a person and all those surrounding him. Although at times, the movie is difficult to watch because of the pain, the messages that you come away with are so worth it. I would highly recommend this film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Slow in the beginning but picked up in the middle and had a strong finish. Lots of funny & poignant moments.

The movie is so uplifting & full of feel-good scenes! Meryl Streep is again spectacular and to see Pierce Brosnan with his shirt off isn't bad either!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
