Not as good as the First

I don't know how much more simply I can state it. This sequel paled in comparison to the first. It was way too long and there was plenty they could cut out. I was very disappointed in the scenes with Sam's parents. They came off ridiculously and many of those scenes at the college could have been cut.. The battle scenes were excellent however and that's what made this movie a blockbuster for the summer. Oh and Megan Fox...she may be beautiful but the girl couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. But go see this movie on the big screen before it's too late because this is a BIG movie and should be seen on a big screen. It is worth it to sit though the carp to see the battle scenes.

One liners for DAYS!

Hands down, the best adult comedy I have seen in YEARS! You will have one-liners from this movie that you will quote forever. Easily a movie you will want to see over and over. Fantastic. Not sure it needs a sequel because it was pretty darn close to perfect.

Ray Romano Should Be Ashamed

From a children's perspective, this movie is cute. From an adult perspective, Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, and Queen Latifah should be ashamed. This movie lacked intellect, spunk, and don't get me started on the lack of true comedy. Michael Berg should be removed from the Writers Guild. This was terrrible and is the first time that I have ever fallen asleep during a movie in my entire life. I only give it 2 stars because my son did enjoy it as most children will. Adults, save your money and go see UP instead. Way better movie written by people who actually know what FUNNY is.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Half-Blood Prince--STUNK

For those of you who are fans of the HP books, this film is a great disappointment. There are several key plot and story elements from the book that are NOT shared in this movie. For those of you who do not read the HP books, you might find this movie very hard to follow. If you are seeking a Twilight-esque teen-angst movie. HP is definitely the choice for you. There is very little action. Hardly any quiddage and no Malfoy smart-alec comments. In fact, Malfoy has hardly any lines compared to previous HP installments.On the whole, I found this movie to be a terrible disappointment and an insult to HP fans. So much so, I can only pray for a re-make that actually does the book justice because this movie is not what HP fans deserve.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
