An enjoyable 2 hours

No computerized explosions, fight scenes or auto chases were necessary to make Julie & Julia a truly enjoyable movie. All that was needed was a goos script, excellent editing and wonderful acting from Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Stanley Tucci and Chris Messina.
Some may consider this a "Chick Flick" but I was necessary, as the holder of the single tissue as well as my wife's hand.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Good Movie, disappointing "3-D" experience

We waited to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 3-D at IMAX. The film was quite good, entertaining and exciting. The 10 Minutes of 3-D...was excellent, but watching a 2 and a half hour movie, advertised in "3-D" IMAX and seeing less than 10% of it in 3-D, at a premium price, made me feel as if I was being RIPPED OFF by the theatre and the IMAX experience. If I were told that the 3-D portion was only 10 or so minutes, I would have saved my money.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
