The suspend belief buttons were in full swing here - from surviving a nuclear blast to easily reading ancient Olmec and Mayan hieroglyphics (interspersed, I might add). But it was highly entertaining and Marian was wonderful to see again. After 19 years I really wanted more. I rate the original Indy as the best, Last Crusade as almost as good, but Crystal Skull was better than Temple of Doom. It WAS great to see Harrison Ford in the role again and I think the hat will be passed to a worthy successor. One of the things that really bothered me was that a skull of quartz crystal of that size would be HEAVY. Instead, they are tossing it around as if it was a basketball. The plexi was WAY too light.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
