I was a fan of the series and would like to say that this has nothingt to do with the sies other than inviting 3 characters from the series to be in this movie. The plot is bad, the pace is very slow, and the mood is boring. It is so bad that midway through the movie (when I was hoping it was over) they brought in Sinner to help bring the plot back on track; sad.
I would recommend passing on this on til it hits Turner; probably next summer.
