Movie was funny, and Meryl Streep played her character well with very believable emotions. It was the subject matter that ruined it for me.
The movie shamelessly pushes what it assumes are the buttons of female divorcees everywhere- the daydream that their ex will one day 'wake up' and realize he's made a mistake- allowing her to wallow in self-satisfaction before eventually turning him down.
Felt bad for the men in the movie enduring gratuitous men-bashing in virtually every scene. Glad I didn't drag my husband to it, but saw it with friends.
