This was a great dissappointment for me. The 3D was pointless and the banter between the two main charaters was tiresome and pathetic. I almost got up and walked out in the middle. The filming was perfect, the story was good. The casting would have been great if Seth hadn't been cast as the Green Hornet and if he had not written the screenplay. The whining and complaining he and Kato do endlessly throughout this film ruined it for me. It will be a fine DVD viewing, don't waste your money on 3D or the theater!
I went with the illusions that we would get to see the two main characters have more scenes together and the cute/quirky way the trailers suggested. Instead it turned into a foul mouthed ,romp through vulgarity, and deviant crude inuendo. I was able to get past the crude language, but my guests were not. My husband spent much of the movie refilling his popcorn and drink. Entertaining, but awkward. It didnt have to be.........
I went into this movie after having seen a bad review of it on tv. On the contrary I found it to be an amazing representation of a transitional neighborhood in middle america that tells the story of what appears to be racial predujudice, but in fact is a human story of honor and grace. It makes a statement about what makes us good americans and good neighbors at the same time.
