Simply put - the best movie I watched in 2009.
Will go watch it again and can't wait for Bluray to be out so I can buy it and watch it again then as well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I expected a LOT more!
Movie is extremely slow paced with only a handful of worthy action scenes, happening every 30 minutes.
Having Dr. Manhattan always butt naked with his glowing "thing" showing up in a bunch of scenes was simply ridiculous!
Super-hero movies have some message to convey. This one conveys the wrong one as you will see. I haven't read the comics so I am not aware of Dr. Manhattan being an idiot, however he's really stupid in this one.
I'd not recommend this to my worse enemy, let alone a good friend. If it was a bit more fast paced, had some more action scenes and less gloving "thing" action, it'd be OK.
Sorry, would say what the "thing" was but review won't get submitted with that word :)
No, I do not recommend this movie.
