If you are old enough to remember 'Airplane,' this movie will be familiar with the addition of an anti-liberal political perspective. (It is more anti-liberal than 'conservative' in that it ridicules post-modern liberalism more than it promotes conservatism.)
There is a heavy emphasis on sight gags and easy one-liners, many of them repeated. Like in 'Airplane,' the repetition was usually funny but not always.
The movie will be better on DVD with subtitles and adult beverages.
I am hearing impaired and enjoyed the movie much more seeing it with rear display closed captioning. My wife has excellent hearing and she struggled with the dialogue. I know because she kept trying to watch on my display!
